Puja Chodha is a photographer, educator, and art director based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work spans photography and visual direction, from developing concepts and producing shoots to directing imagery and collaborating with creative teams. She holds a Master of Arts from Steinhardt, New York University.

“My approach to photography and visual direction is rooted in storytelling. I am drawn to images that feel natural, intimate, and authentic, with an editorial sensibility. My influences include the quiet evocative qualities of Tonalist paintings and the luminosity of late 19th-century Pictorial photography. Whether photographing or directing, I begin with the story and create imagery that feels honest, expressive, and lasting.”
